Nobody is more excited about the ceasefire agreement right now than our creators on the ground in Gaza. They’re also the most nervous about it ending!
You’ve probably never heard of them, but you will. Since joining Seen Palestine, they’re the fastest-growing youth voices in Gaza.
👗Tala Rami is our youngest creator! She’s 11, ADORABLE, obsessed with fashion, and somehow, throughout a genocide, kept her style fresh while documenting the devastation.
🎤Salma Lulu is just 12, and we love her homemade Seen TV-branded mic. It doesn’t actually work, but in her hands, it transforms her into an unstoppable reporter.
🧑🏽💻Jehad Miri is the tech genius! Even while living through a genocide, he’s kept up with his computer engineering studies. He says education isn’t just a goal, it’s resistance.
🗣️Hala Al Turk is mastering languages while the bombs go off. She wants to be an international translator and already speaks Turkish, French, English, and Arabic fluently. And, of course, she understands one universal language: STORYTELLING!
🐱Shahed Abo Libda has spent the last 15 months watching a genocide unfold through her bedroom window. Her home is right next to a Nuseirat hospital, one of the many that Israel has turned into a battleground. But instead of looking away, she’s documenting everything from her bedroom, with a special focus on helping Gaza’s animals.
In the coming weeks, we’ll go deep with 16 of our creators, starting TOMORROW, with Jana, a 17-year-old from Rafah who dreams of becoming a doctor!
These creators aren’t just sharing stories, they’re safeguarding Gaza’s history. If you want to help guide them through their storytelling journeys as a mentor, you can reach me and the team at palestine@seen.tv!
Thanks to your memberships and support, we make sure Palestinian stories are Seen. ❤️
Love,
Yusuf Omar
